re: Rules & Guidelines

We are an adult oriented guild. This means adult language and subjects can and are discussed in guild chat and vent. We do not condone out of control behavior, we expect everyone to act as an adult and to police themselves.

Because of the adult nature of our guild we do not normally accept people under the age of 18. Exceptions can be made, but honestly if you do not already have someone on the inside you should probably look elsewhere.

Guild drama will NOT be tolerated

If you have a direct issue with someone please take it to tells or talk with an officer. Do not take it to guild chat or vent for the rest of the guild to deal with as well.

You may not have any officer on ignore. Officers need to be able to speak to you at any time.

Officers may not have you on ignore. If an officer has you on ignore, please contact another officer about this.

Do not take any item offered by a guild mate in order to sell the item. (Unless they are aware of this).

If you choose to make slanderous or derogatory remarks towards the guild, be prepared to back them up. A lot of people work hard to provide a fun environment for you to play in, please remember and respect that.

Recruits will be removed from the guild after 1 month of inactivity. Officers have the right to veto a membership application or member currently under recruit status. Recruit status will last from between 2 and 4 weeks.

Vent:

Vent is a great tool for us to use and enjoy. There will be times it gets crazy in there, but be aware that while on raids you should keep non-raid chatter to a minimum. We’re not asking for silence, but raid time is for raiding. If you need to ask a question you shouldn’t have to talk over someone.

If you are not in a raid that others are in please keep your participation in the channel to a minimum unless it directly involves the raid rest are in.

If an officer asks to “Clear Vent” please clear vent! The officer’s tone may sound harsh, but there is a very good reason why Vent needs to be cleared at the moment, please be tolerant of the request, you can tell him he was an asshole later.

Raids should use a raid channel in vent so there is no question who has “rights” to the current channel.

Raiding:

Please be respectful of other's time and keep AFK's to a minimum.

Loot will not be argued about. Unless you are told otherwise, you should expect the loot system to be either NBG /roll or AKP(dkp). Note an AKP raid will be so designated before the raid begins.

Raid slots are not guaranteed unless you are specifically told a slot is being held. You may be asked to sit out a fight, or even a night depending on raid slots available. Don’t be mad, we try to accommodate everyone, we do the best we can, but there will be times where not everyone can go.

Passing on Loot
The winner of roll may pass on loot, but may only pass to the next highest roll.

Winning Drops
You may only win 1 Main spec drop per Run. This rule is reset if a drop occurs that all interested parties have already won something that run. Offset drops do not count as your 1 drop. A forced win on a drop because no one else wants it and the item is more or less a sideways improvement (aka no real improvement, but maybe you can tweak it into something useful), is not considered your 1 drop.

Main Spec / Offspec Definitions (When to roll)
First use common sense when deciding if a drop is main spec for yourself or not. Gear of a lesser quality Armor type (ie. leather or cloth for a Shaman) should not be considered Main spec. Gear that is not of optimum configuration for your spec should not usually be considered Main spec (ie. A Necklace with spirit and hit rating would not be Main spec for a Resto Shaman, and a Neck with MP5 would not be Main Spec for a Warlock).

This rule can be somewhat arbitrary at times. If you are replacing a rather low level piece of gear, it might be ok to roll Main spec for something, but it is better to ask before you do roll.

Guild Bank:

Listeera, Skyeline and Madcor are the bank manager's.

The last 2 tabs of the guild bank are FFA. Take what you need and use it!

You may not take items from the guild bank to sell, or to craft into items to sell. They must be for your own personal use.

Other items in the bank may be requested from an officer. A request made for your main is more likely to be approved than for your alt.

There is currently not charge for items out of the bank. Abuse this privilege and we will start charging.

Periodically we will sell excess items in the bank, this money will be used by the officers to fund raiding operations or to purchase more tabs.
